Human-centered automation in the age of artificial intelligence: INCLUSIVE final workshop

An advanced human-machine interaction, which places the first at the center of the production process. It is the "human centered" automation, a model also possible in the era of Industry 4.0, the evolution of the "digital factory" and automation, where the role of the operator is not replaced at all, but further enhanced.

These are the themes at the center of the workshop "Human-centered automation in the age of artificial intelligence", scheduled for Friday, September 13, from 9:30 am, at the SCM headquarters in Rimini (via Emilia 77). The event, aimed at technical personnel of companies and research centers that use or develop automation systems, will illustrate the most interesting results of the European project INCLUSIVE, financed by the European Commission within the Horizon 2020 program, of which SCM was a partner with its industrial research center. It will also be possible to discover new Human-Machine Interface (HMI) models with configurable automation systems where the machine can adapt to the capabilities of the operator, making its user experience easier and more enjoyable and opening, in perspective, even new scenarios that are perhaps unthinkable today, such as the possibility of integrating disadvantaged people with limited physical or cognitive abilities.

The agenda sees interventions among others by SCM, University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, Technical University of Munich, Centro Protesi Vigorso di Budrio and NiEW Design. It is possible to make a visit to the SCM Technology Center, where the most recent technological solutions developed by the company will be illustrated.
